7 Days Until Election Day
Happy Tuesday, Activists!
We'll say it again - it's been a long haul. But we're not tired! We have more to do and we're not giving up. If it helps, think about how you want to feel on November 6th. I know you don't want to have any regrets!
We have canvassing, phone banking, helping voters get their ballots counted. Plus, you can pick from all the ways below to help voters get their votes actually counted. It's a huge deal.
So as usual, we hope you will join us for a canvass, which is the very best work you can do -- and is easy and so rewarding! If not, pick something else!
INFO TO VOTE EARLY WITH A MAIL-IN BALLOT
Do you want to vote early with a mail-in ballot but you didn't sign up for one? TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO DO IT.
You can vote with this method until 5:00 PM TODAY. So go to a satellite election office today. You can request and vote a mail-in ballot in one visit to a Satellite Election Office and you can find them at this link for Philadelphia.
Come prepared with your PA driver’s license number, PennDOT issued photo ID number, or (if you do not have a PennDOT ID) the last four digits of your Social Security number.
Here is a simple graphic to show you how. Click the graphic or use this link for more info and other locations in PA for where you can vote this way. BUT YOU HAVE TO DO IT TODAY.
If you already have your mail-in ballot you can drop it off at the satellite election office. Or, if your mail-in ballot has been damaged or you filled it out wrong, you can get a replacement ballot there too. You can do that until Election Day.
HELP VOTERS GET THEIR BALLOTS COUNTED
1. Please Check this out -- Philadelphia has just released the first list of ballots that will not be counted unless they are corrected. Here is the list published by the Commissioners for the Philly "deficiency list." Check for your name, your family members' names, your neighbors' names -- anyone you know or can tell. And share this link far and wide!
2. Sign up with Vote Navigator to assist voters who face high barriers to voting including:
Elderly voters, Voters with disabilities, illness, physical and mental health challenges and others. Check out the link here and read what it includes.
3. Be a Designated Agent and assist voters with turning in their Mail-in Ballot. Check it out at this link.
4. Help voters "cure" their mail-in ballots. Sign up at this link.
5. Help disabled voters with transportation for their Mail-in ballots. You'll need your own transportation for this. Sign up at this link.
6. Drive Voters to the polls with Rides2Vote, which offers these services. You can see their volunteer page here. Or sign up with Promote The Vote PA at this link.
7. Do you live outside Pennsylvania? You can help! Sign up for the Harris campaign's Anytime Call Crew. You'll reach Pennsylvania voters and you can fit it into your schedule. Sign up for a training

VOTER PROTECTION WORK
You can sign up now for working at a polling place and other work to protect the vote this year. The PA Voter Protection Volunteer Team has lots of opportunities, both in person & remote. They will have many trainings for you over the next month or two.
The Dems need thousands of poll observers on Election Day, as well as other important roles. Each role starts with you signing up for the one-hour virtual training before we start the assignment process. If you haven’t done so already, it is very helpful for planning purposes if you sign up for training sooner rather than later.
