84 Days Until Election Day
Happy Tuesday, Activists!
For the past several weeks we've had a great time talking to voters at the doors. And we've learned a lot. Know what they are telling us? They know who Kamala Harris is and are not as sure who Tim Walz is. But although they know her name, they don't know exactly what Harris's policies are or what she has done as Vice President. So we tell them! And once they know, they are fully on the Harris/Walz train.
Telling voters about Harris and Walz takes some time but it's well worth it and it's fun! And that's why we have so many ways for you to get involved and talk to voters. First, you can canvass with us. And you can sign up for our 35 Doors Program and talk to your neighbors and answer their questions about this team and about the election. We give you everything you need -- training, clipboards, handouts and door hangers, talking points and the address list. And for our canvassing we give you breakfast and good conversation beforehand!! What's not to love?!
You can make phone calls to voters, see below. The technology for talking to voters when we make calls has really improved, so if you haven't tried this recently, try it now. You'll have more conversations.
We even engage voters at our voter registration drives. And of course, postcards! These are not direct conversations but the data show that they work to remind voters of the issues presented in this election.
We're looking forward to seeing you out there!

TOMORROW August 14, 6:00 PM
Remember when five House seats were lost in New York alone in 2022??? We have a chance to get them back in November and make Hakeem Jeffries the Speaker of the House! Let's make calls to remind voters in NY-19 to support Josh Riley so he can defeat Rep. Marc Molinaro.
This event will include remarks by a guest speaker and inspirational group leaders who are working in the district. A short HubDialer training will be included at the event. The remainder of the event will be dedicated to calling voters!
August 23, 3:00 PM Indivisible National Phonebank for the Harris/Walz campaign
The Democratic National Convention ends on Thursday, August 22. So the next day we'll capitalize on the energy of seeing Kamala take the stage as the Democratic candidate for president as we make calls on Friday.
We’ll be dialing into Nevada -- one of the top presidential battlegrounds where the election will be decided this year. Come help us make sure Nevadans are fired up and ready to catapult Kamala into the Oval Office.
CARDS & COFFEE
Join us every other Wednesday to write postcards together at this lovely coffee shop. We will supply the cards too! We ask that you provide your own stamps.
We will be writing our next postcard, devoted to Project 2025 and what they want to do to our reproductive freedoms. We will have the next postcard campaign ready for you very soon so stay tuned!
