Happy Sunday, Activists! We hope you're having a great weekend! We wanted to remind you about our very interesting meeting coming up this Tuesday, September 26th at 5:30. We'll talk about the upcoming statewide judicial elections and what we can to do to help protect abortion rights, voting rights, and of course our democracy. We have many options for you! You can see all the details below and sign up.
JOIN US FOR THIS ZOOM MEETING - LEARN ABOUT THE COURT RACES THIS NOVEMBER We have some critical judicial races on the ballot this November 7th and we want you to know exactly what will be on our ballots - both in writing and in the effect on our lives. So we've scheduled a meeting on zoom to give you the info! The statewide races feature all three of our statewide courts -- Commonwealth Court, Superior Court and Supreme Court. These courts will decide how our democracy works (or doesn't), our abortion rights, and so much more having a direct effect on our lives. So we need to learn and then take action! You'll hear from Deborah Gross, CEO of Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts. She'll give us details about these courts and the types of cases they will be deciding. Then you'll hear from us about the actions we have planned to get out the vote leading up to Election Day. See you there! Sign up here.
