I’ll be taking my thoughts and prayers to the ballot box. ~ Colin Kaepernick (on his t-shirt) Happy Wednesday, Activists! We hope you had a restful holiday weekend. We have several opportunities for you to show your outrage over the inaction on gun regulation, below. This activism is important to show the public that this issue is not going away. We also have many opportunities to talk to voters to get them to the polls in November to elect candidates who will help make the laws we want and will protect our rights. So there's no time like the present to get into action!
POSTCARD UPDATE! We asked and you answered! In last Monday's newsletter we told you about our postcard project and the two different cards you can choose from -- our "Bans Off Our Bodies" cards and our "Bicycle" cards. Well . . . [drum roll please] in the one week following that newsletter, over 100 of you ordered postcards, signing up to write over 12,300 cards!! You're keeping Ann, Bruce, and our postcard facilitators super busy! We are so proud and grateful to be in this with you. Again, check out our postcard options in Monday's newsletter and sign up.
