18 Days Until Election Day
Happy Friday, Activists!
We have two exciting announcements today and it's hard to know which one to tell you about first! Plus, below are more actions you can take to help voters make sure their votes are counted. This is good work!!
Okay, here goes . . . .
MEET REPRESENTATIVE JAYAPAL!!
As you know, we are canvassing every Saturday, including tomorrow, in Oxford Circle. Tomorrow Representative Pramila Jayapal will offer remarks at our canvass launch at County Club Diner! You don't want to miss out on a chance to meet her a and hear her remarks in person. We hope you will be there at 11:00 AM! You can sign up here.
DAN PFEIFFER WILL BE OUR GUEST!
AND . . . on Tuesday, October 22nd at 6:00 pm ET, we'll be making calls to Pennsylvania voters to get out the vote. And our very special guest will be Dan Pfeiffer! He's the former Communications Director in the Obama White House and current co-host of Pod Save America. If you have seen our Messaging Monday newsletter, you should know that Dan's ideas are the inspiration for that project. Sign up here to join us at 6:00pm ET/3:00pm PT.
And now, here are things to help you vote early and also to help voters to get their ballots counted.
Do you want to vote early with a mail-in ballot but you didn't sign up for one? You still can!
You can vote with this method through October 29, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Just request and vote a mail-in ballot in one visit to a local county election office or another designated location.
Come prepared with your PA driver’s license number, PennDOT issued photo ID number, or (if you do not have a PennDOT ID) the last four digits of your Social Security number.
Here is a simple graphic to show you how. Click the graphic or use this link for more info and where to do it.

VOTER PROTECTION WORK
You can sign up now for working at a polling place and other work to protect the vote this year. The PA Voter Protection Volunteer Team has lots of opportunities, both in person & remote. They will have many trainings for you over the next month or two.
The Dems need thousands of poll observers on Election Day, as well as other important roles. Each role starts with you signing up for the one-hour virtual training before we start the assignment process. If you haven’t done so already, it is very helpful for planning purposes if you sign up for training sooner rather than later.
VOLUNTEER WITH THE HARRIS CAMPAIGN
Please see the most critical needs below:
In-Person Roles:

In this Election Day role, you will be the eyes and ears of the campaign: documenting issues, solving problems, answering questions as they arise.Poll Observers will be assigned to serve as either an “Inside” or “Outside” Observer. Full and half day shifts available.

Designated Agent
Pennsylvania’s voters with disabilities are entitled to limited assistance in casting their mail-in ballots. From now until November 5th, we’re looking for volunteers to help them as Designated Agents–a multi-step process in which the volunteer serves as an authorized liaison between the voter and the elections office.
Complete this form if interested: Designated Agent Signup Form
Remote Roles:
Ballot Cure Calls
Ballot cure volunteers help voters fix their mailed-in ballots that are at risk of rejection.
Sign up for a Ballot Cure Phone Bank here: Ballot Cure Phone Bank (more times will be added soon)
Volunteer Recruitment Calls
We run weekly two-hour phonebanks to call supporters interested in voter protection and get them signed up for volunteer shifts.
