CALL TO ACTION Call our senators and demand that they don't allow Sen. Murphy’s gun safety package to be watered down. Sen. Murphy’s gun safety policy is a step in the right direction towards true reform. Make sure our senators know you DO NOT want it to be watered down, as some rumors are telling us. Remember that our senators are being pushed by rich gun corporations multiple times a day. And their pro-gun constituents are calling them too. So we MUST counter those forces and make the calls. Our Next Meeting: Women's Reproductive Freedom Kathryn Kolbert is the co-author of the recently published Controlling Women: What We Must Do Now to Save Reproductive Freedom. She is an expert on the Supreme Court and on laws governing women’s reproductive freedom. Kathryn will discuss the ruling and the freedoms based on the same right to privacy in Roe and that the Court may strip away in the future.
